Woman stabbed to death; suspect steals gold jewellery

A woman was killed after being stabbed by a sharp object in the Wanathawilluwa area, police stated. Authorities have already begun investigations into the incident which claimed the life of the 27 year old victim.
The victim was a resident of the Mailankulama area while police reported that the incident occurred last night (July 12).
Police reported that the gold jewellery which was in the victim’s house was stolen by the suspect.
